How Do We Know That Jesus Is God?

It is a seldom known fact that the ancient Hebrew scriptures predict a Messiah who will be God. These same prophecies predict His crucifixion, resurrection, and power to perform miracles. This is important to the story of Jesus because it means that we also have the entire Old Testament scriptures which support Jesus as God, saying and doing all of the things that we read about Him in the New Testament.

A Messiah Who Is God, Predicted

The facts that concern Jesus in the New Testament are supported by the facts of the Old Testament. The Hebrew prophets wrote extensively about a Messiah who would come to Jerusalem at a specific time to bring salvation to the world. Continue reading “How Do We Know That Jesus Is God?”

Why Jesus Is God, And Others Are Not

Is there evidence to conclude that Jesus is God and all others are not? You might be surprised to learn that we have the capacity today to prove that everything written about Jesus in the New Testament is accurate and reliable.

In recent years, a new group of Liberal Theologians have written books asserting that eighty-five percent of the things attributed to Jesus in the New Testament, He never said or did. These men and women argue that Jesus never claimed to be God, nor did He have the capacity to perform miracles.

When we investigate the evidence for ourselves we find just the opposite.

We discover that people sometimes have agendas. They write their words from a particular view with an intended purpose. We find out that before these books were written, people had already decided that God does not exist and therefore, miracles are not possible. It was for this reason that these men and women determined that what is written about Jesus cannot be true.

Some people have the idea that a person who has achieved a Ph.D. is a reliable source for true and accurate information. Most of us understands that people can make just about anything sound true, though the facts say something completely different.

The truth is, the evidence to support that Jesus is God and the things written about Him in the New Testament are true is overwhelming.

Why Is Jesus God And All Others, Not?

Quite simply, because the empirical evidence which has survived time and decay proves He is God.

You might be surprised by this statement. There are many people in the world today who believe there is no evidence to support the idea that God exists.

To the contrary, there exists a massive number of evidentiary proofs which fully validate Jesus as God—superior to all other gods. I have written  twenty-four books about this evidence, three of which are between 3-4,000 pages.

Let me be clear at the onset that the entire purpose for Jesus coming into the world was to prove that God exists. He ensured that we would be able to make this conclusion by leaving us with empirical facts to support our faith.

If we think that the New Testament is not reliable because it is of such great age and has been copied so many times that the words within are corrupted, we are misinformed.

If we believe the writers of the New Testament embellished their stories about Jesus or that He did not say or do the things written about Him, we are in error.

Writers like myself, who have spent their lives investigating the evidence which validates the authenticity of the New Testament, are certain the narratives about Jesus are true and reliable because the evidence supports this conclusion. This book is the result of my 43 years of research, writing, lecturing, and publishing evidence for the historical validity of Jesus in the United States, Europe, and Asia.

This book presents facts that most people have never heard or considered. This work was written for the purpose of giving you an intellectual, evidence-based reason to believe that Jesus is singular and transcendent above all others.

The Bible As The Basis For The Constitution

As we examine human life, we discover that every culture, every country, all people, and nations, have laws which order and direct human activity. Laws are necessary because the basic nature of the human species is towards evil. We are inherently selfish and often seek to look out for our own interests first. Without laws, evil would run rampant over peaceful people who are doing their best to live good and productive lives.

What is the origin of human laws? Where did the framers of the Constitution of the United States find the laws that allow the freedoms that we enjoy as Americans?

The Egyptians, Assyrians, Greeks, and Romans, as well as, many other great an powerful nations of the ancient world, worshipped many different gods. Not one before, ever possessed the laws that were given to the nation that originated from Abraham. When God gave Moses His law on Mount Sinai, these basic ten commandments changed, forever, the course of all human activity. No other nation in the history of the world had the code of moral laws, like those which governed the people of Israel. Every great nation since that time, has fashioned their own laws, from these basic ten laws that Moses received from God. Continue reading “The Bible As The Basis For The Constitution”

Caught Up Together: The Next Great Event

These are perilous times. We look around us and see that the world has grown darker and more evil. We perceive the hearts of people growing hateful and cold. Governments are corrupt. The perverse rise up and censor and mock the righteous. God is relegated to a corner and told to be quiet. Christians are silent and say little for fear of ridicule or loss.

These are the days predicted by the scriptures in which God would end the evil of this world and bring the light of His kingdom to earth. The world doesn’t expect Jesus to come. In fact, they laugh at the idea. Even Christians have difficulty accepting that Jesus will come again, believing the lie of the scoffer who asks: “where is the promise of Jesus coming?” Continue reading “Caught Up Together: The Next Great Event”

Does It Matter How God Feels?

We make a hundred decisions every day, most of which, concern us. Do we ever stop to think about what we say and do and how these things affect God? Many of us never consider that we are important enough for God to notice. We are stunned to discover that He is watching us with such interest that he knows how many breaths we have taken on any particular day. He catches all of our tears in a bottle. He has numbered the hairs on our head. We discover that He fashioned us in our mother’s womb and planned all the wonderful days of our life for us, before we were born.

Your eyes saw my substance, being yet unformed. And in Your book they all were written, the days fashioned for me —Psalms 139:16 Continue reading “Does It Matter How God Feels?”

Returning Moral Clarity To American Life

We are confronted with a dangerous enemy. The erosion of the American family and the moral values that define us as a people and a nation have been under attack for more than 50 years. Redefining what constitutes marriage, accepting that gender is determined by personal choice, excluding the voice and choice of people who appose changes in America’s moral history. Taking God out of every resemblance of government, schools, and public offices. Degrading the United States until it no longer resembles its former visage intended by the framers of our Constitution.

This generation has no idea of the former glory of America when people really cared about their neighbors and lived together in peace. The line between morality and immorality has been eroded until its barrier is no loner detectable by young people today.

It is seldom understood why morality is so important to the survival of our nation. Only when we examine the history of the world do we discover that no nation has survived which permitted perversion to be normalized, and the sanctity of human life diminished. It's Okay To Speak Negatively About Christians

Why is it people think that saying something negative about a Christian is okay but not about other religions? What makes Christianity such a threat to people that they exclude those who believe in Jesus from the rules of decency and respect? In an article about Presidential Press Secretary, Sarah Sanders, we see a glimpses of this problem today:

“If someone says something about another faith, particularly liberals come to their defense in a raging motion, but if someone attacks a Christian, it’s perfectly fine. At some point we became a culture that said that was okay.” —Sarah Sanders

Starting The Day: First The Word, Then The World

When you wake up in the morning how do you start your day? If you are like me, often it’s a cup of coffee and the news. On a few mornings I begin the day with the word of God. Sitting silently in the quiet of early morning, I open my Bible and begin to read and think about what God has written for us. I noticed that when I start the day with the world—listening to the news and what is happening—my day goes far different that it does when I start with the word of God.

As I read and meditate upon what God has said I can feel my heart soaking up the good things He has spoken and a sense of refreshment comes over my soul.

If God Doesn't Exist, Why Is There So Much Evidence To The Contrary?

According to critics, there is no evidence for the existence of God. Many people read these comments and take the word of those who make these clams. If this in in fact, true, then why do we find such a great body of evidence to the contrary? All one must do is read the words of the New Testament Gospels and we get a very clear picture of the truth. Continue reading “If God Doesn't Exist, Why Is There So Much Evidence To The Contrary?”
